This weekend reminded me of the sobering reality of death. A visitor I am fortunate to not have to come in contact with often—however, when it does it reminds us the urgency in living while we can. I explored the idea of alternative burials after my grandmother passed in 2019. She was such a wonderful and vibrant woman it was difficult to know her final resting place would be in a marble drawer. Then, I came across a macrame coffin (still a heavy contender)— fast forward to the present; as I try to console myself with the lost of a cruical anchor in my community, I've come across this innovate approach to our exit from the living world. A mushroom suit intended to be an eco alternative that brings us into the mycellium network. (more info after the jump)

Atmosphoric Water Machine created by Moses West
A fitting name for the CEO of Paladin Water Technology.
"Moses West, of San Antonio, Texas, has brought water to Flint, Michigan, and Puerto Rico -- all through his Atmospheric Water Generation machines, which extract moisture from the atmosphere and turn it into water."
